Robin Andrade, MEd, Founder and CEO
Robin brings over a decade of experience teaching at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy and more than twenty years in the health care field. A registered pharmacy technician, she has dedicated her career to education, earning a BEd, MEd, and now pursuing a PhD, demonstrating her deep commitment to lifelong learning.
Patient Pro began as a Master’s project during her studies at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Though the idea remained quietly in her back pocket, it resurfaced after graduation, when she recognized the potential to explore the intersection of AI and education through her doctoral research at Brock University .
Today, Robin continues to support student learning in her role in work-integrated learning as an Educational Developer, helping to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience.
Dr. Tom McFarlane, Co-Founder
Dr. Tom McFarlane teaches oncology, internal medicine, and autoimmunity topics to the undergraduate students at the School of Pharmacy. He has a particular interest in GI, lung, and prostate cancers, and conducts practice based research in these settings which includes exploring ways of improving supportive care regimens for patients and the impact of supportive care on overall outcomes. He is also interested in qualitative research examining patient attitudes toward cancer care.

Software Engineer
Paul Gege
Paul is a software engineer with 5+ years of experience in full-stack development and UI/UX design. At Geeg Ltd., he works directly with clients to turn ideas into high-quality, scalable applications—leading everything from strategy to execution. Armed with a Master’s in Computer Science (HCI) Paul has a strong focus on creating user-centered, visually appealing interfaces.
Paul is especially interested in how AI can be used to make software more accessible and intuitive. Outside of work, Paul is big on sports, especially basketball.

Preet Sian
Preet Sian holds a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Brighton in the UK and completed her residency at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex. She has over 20 years of experience in community pharmacy in Ontario, including 10 years as a pharmacy manager.
Preet also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy. Her areas of specialization include diabetes management, women’s health, and geriatric care. She currently works as a clinical consultant pharmacist and is a certified diabetes educator (CDE).
Preet enjoys travelling, organizing community events, baking with her children and reading in her free time.

Hannah Jordan
Hannah Jordan lives, works and plays on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral peoples. A woman of Trans experience, Hannah has been involved in Simulation as both coordinator and Simulated Patient for close to ten years. On the side, Hannah writes, makes music, and plays with her cat, Selina Kyle. As well, Hannah is currently at work obtaining her Masters Degree in Education.
